Turn Failure into Success

“Failure is success if we learn from it.”  ― Malcolm Forbes, entrepreneur

I believe this phrase sums up coaching well.  Coaching focuses on moving forward, regardless of circumstances or environment.  There will often be speed bumps in the road or barriers in the path, preventing you from attaining your goals.  The question is, what are you going to do about them?

When someone else gets the promotion, you believe you deserve, do you quit?  If you miss the deadline for an important project, do you throw your hands up and say you can’t do your job?  When you lose a client, do you believe you’re not good at your job?  If your spouse says they don’t want to be married to you, do you believe there is something wrong with you?

Each of these are failures of some kind, however, they are also opportunities to move forward toward success. It’s all about your chosen mindset and response to the situation.  Coaching leads you toward looking at new perspectives, envisioning your better self, and identifying your values to enable you to live them out daily.

Wishing you the best as you take your next steps toward having a Professional Edge.
